While probably true, Funk has put forth a Collie-Like effort in successfully stringing others along into this discussion.

And they both have a lot in common.

Both love the bling
Both are white
Both are mormon
Both live in Utah county
Both have some serious dance moves
Both have people hanging off every word they say
Both like Crosswords
Collie's secretary is named Funk
Funk's secretary is named Collie

Their path's were destined to intersect.

funk has been downright whiny about everything since the Utes lost.

Collie is right... those who make a big deal out of what he said need to get over it.

I can't imagine a Utah player saying anything that would cause me to obsess over it as much as mpfunk has over Collie's statement.

Thus concludes my only post on this topic.

It really doesn't matter what Collie said, or how you've chosen to interpret it, he still burned McCain and the utes lost...again.

I had to get this info through the FOIA.

BYU has the highest number of applicants to the UofU Medical School, yet the lowest percentage of BYU grads who are accepted. About 60 more BYU grads apply, yet 15 more from the U are accepted. BYU has the lowest percentage of acceptance which includes Utah, USU and Weber State.

Coincidence? Right. BYU grads do less community service? BYU grads score lower on the MCAT? One of my son's interviewers couldn't speak english (She was russian). One of the professors mocked his missionary service.

No Mormon, white boy, bias there. It must have all been coincidence.

Per experience of my friends and cousins who applied to Utah medical school, it's more an affirmative action bias and not so much a mormon bias.

It would be interesting to see of the applicants from the U and Y the diversity of those applicants.

I'm sorry your son had to deal with an interviewer who mocked his missionary service.

That's their code word.

And the number of grads who remain in Utah for their residency is dismal. Only 5 other public medical schools have lower rates. In other words we're educating them and then they leave the state. Sounds like a great ROI for the residents of Utah.
