You have not demonstrated any knowledge of current rules, i.e., when Lebowski schooled you on the challenge issue, and you did not know what the rule or the reason for throwing the flag. The fact that you listened to local radio shows who had to devise another excuse for the pathetic display by the Huskies does not evince football knowledge.

What formation was the defensive alignment? What scheme overloaded which portion of the offensive line in order to create an unblocked rusher? Why do you believe BYU could not use that in a shorter kick? Did you read the UW kicker who opined it made NO difference? Do you really believe Willingham's tendency would have been to go for two? If you saw the line penetration and running Locker would have been stopped for a loss.

ER may know elementary physics but I don't buy all his bs. BTW, Archaea likes Seattle but finds his football knowledge to be pathetic, especially in comparison to his basketball IQ.

Small world!
Did SU select the "clowns with balloons" check design?

This is just sad.

Let it go, friend. Let it go.

Where is all this "go for two" talk coming from? Whittingham clearly held up one finger after the TD was scored and the celebration was happening. He confirmed in the post game that he had no intention of going for two prior to the flag being thrown. I remember thinking to myself that we might be screwed if they went for two, but there is no evidence of such an intention on the part of Washington. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Did he send Bronco a text message that he would not go for 2? If it's at the 3 yard line BYU has to respect the fake and might not rush as hard. Willingham's post game comments don't really mean much in this scenario.

Correction: ER, like many message-board, Monday-morning quarterback wannabes, THINKS he's knowledgeable about football.

Not sure that'll get you too far.
