I also wonder if he's given up on getting Juco speed and hops, viewing it an unreasonable expectation, or whether he's just not been lucky.

Maybe he will be able to parlay this season's hoped for success into better access in those areas. Having an athletic center is not a foregone conclusion for us. Miles is a better representative of the typical center our Scandinavian forefathers can guarantee.
