Tavernari is a Rose recruit, Murdock is a rose recruit, Fredette, Collinsworth, Loyd, Archie Rose, are also all Rose recruits. Plaisted and Cummard may not be, but I think he has surrounded those two with some good players.
BYU is not going away anytime soon. 2007- Plaisted, Cummard, Tav, Burgess, Murdock 2008- Plaisted, Cummard, Tav, Fredette, Loyd 2009- Miles, Tav, Fredette, Loyd, Emery 2010- Fredette, Loyd, Collinsworth, Emery Add any other incoming recruits, JC kids, etc, especially if they land a Tyler Haws and they are set for a long time.

The 07 and 08 guys are a lot better than 09 and 10 on your list. When BYU recruited Plaistead, Cummard, and the other Burgess they were a top 10 recruiting class. I knew they would be good for a while. Look at my posts on CB back when they were freshmen. I said they would be good while the CB nitwits were melting down.

In a way Cummard is a Rose recruit.
When Cleveland announced he was leaving, Rose had to really put on a hard sell job for Cummard to stick around. Kinda like what Giacoletti had to do with Bogut.

I wonder if he genuinely believed the team could be better with better coaching. His comments about never telling the team they couldn't accomplish greatness seemed to me a rebuke of Cleveland who was more of a tell it like it is in an effort to perhaps dumb down expectations to a more reasonable level. Rose is more in the mold of Bronco and just lays down the expectations even if they are difficult to reach.
