MP, for a newlywed, you've been very testy lately.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Must be a typo. I don't see BYU on here. Right Junkie?
BYU only signed one player and can't be ranked based on that. BYU's holding onto next year which might turn out to be a year like the Plaisted, Cummard year. Oh, wouldn't that be a tragedy, if BYU signs Tyler Haws and that other stud, I forget his name. Too bad, the year may turn out sooner than SU had hoped.

As Archaea has already said, BYU only has one scholarship available for this year.

I know with all of their recent success you would think that this was a senior laden squad, but I hate to break it to you but you will be getting your ass kicked by these guys for at least another 2 years.

Next year will be the best recruiting class in Utah highschool basketball history. Tyler Haws and CJ Wilcox are the top two players. We have a very good shot at Haws, and according to CJs dad, Wilcox is 50/50.

Interesting note on Tyler Haws. His Dad showed up unannounced at Utah practice the other day to talk to Boylen. I don't think Utah is going to get Haws, but we have a legit shot at him.

Ha! More like "text one my son one more time and I'll rip your balls off."

All reports are that Marty is not pushing his son to BYU. Another thing in Utah's favor is that Boylen has a lot better relationship with Quincy Lewis (Haws high school coach) than Rose.

It I was a betting man I would bet on Haws to BYU, but I think the chances he ends up at Utah are a lot higher than most BYU fans would like to believe.

If Haws goes to Utah, man, that would make the Ngata thing look like childs play.

I'm amazed that someone from the 94-95 team would have a 16 year old already...time sure flies.

When will we see a young Troast or Larsen in a Cougar uniform?

Mid Major was first a Bball term and it applied to teams from a conference that received only 1 bid to the NCAA tourney. I hate how football adopted the term as it applied to the BCS and then moved teams from not being catagorized as a mid major into being catagorized as a mid major even when talking about hoops.

the BCS does indeed suck because it marginalizes our whole athletic program.
