When I was in HS, Greg Kite did a fireside in Thousand Oaks. He was a Clipper at the time and he spoke a lot about the NBA. I sat there amused, knowing that although he played 5 or so years in Boston, he only averaged about 1 point more than I did....

Whenever people ask any question about BYU basketball, my answer is always Greg Kite.

Perhaps that is the reason Seikaly never got on the airplane after the trade.

Knowing Kite had played at BYU, he may have thought that Kite would be waiting for him at the flagpole at the airport.
