Now that this thing is being carried live, I'm even more convinced he's not going to byu

I'd love to be surprised but why go live on tv to announce to the world you're going to a place like byu? I think he's announcing duke and the pressed is akin to a massive pat on the back for a decision well made.

Today is the day. I think byu is about zero percent chance. Not going to even watch. I've never once seen one of these go byu's way.

I agree. I did not want to hope BYU had a possibility.

Duke is what insiders are tweeting.

The reason that selection saddens me is that Duke doesn't need him, but he would do wonders for BYU's program. Duke will remain a final four candidate with or without him.

I certainly won't go out of my way to watch his work at Duke. BYU will play second fiddle to the big programs for a long time to come.

I would probably choose Duke if I were him. So I'm fine with that choice.

I doubt I will root for him in any kind of way. Teo may be a great player for ND, but I don't give a damn about him.

http://www.provobuzz.com/source-jaba...-selects-duke/

Disappointment confirmed.

I won't follow him and don't care what happens to him now. He will be rich and famous but BYU will not benefit, so I don't care.

Just once, it would be great for BYU to strike it rich. Not in my lifetime it appears.

I have enjoyed following the ups and downs of BYU basketball, but have never had the pleasure of watching BYU make it to the Final Four. Jimmer's year was the year. I had hoped against reason that Jabari would take BYU to the promised land. But then again, I woke up from my dream to find our knight in shining armor tending the flocks of the Philistines.

Dang. One that got away, a big one.

Confusing, now it's Michigan State.

Ah well. Who care?! It's not BYU.

I'm not disappointed. I never expected it to happen. The surprising thing is that he even considered BYU publicly.

I am not surprised, but still disappointed. I wanted him at BYU and I wish for the day when BYU plays in a Final Four. Maybe I won't live to see that day but I hope at least you will.

I don't expect it.

Just like I expect BYU to get rid of its football program before it ever plays for the national championship.

The best days of BYU sports are behind us, not ahead of us.

I'm just glad to see our hat on the table.

I do think that kids who hold press conferences in HS are kids who have likely seen their best days.
