I feel misled.
There Will Be Blood was incredibly boring and pointless. Daniel Day Lewis did give an exceptional performance, but that movie was simply awful. The abrupt ending certainly didn't help it either.

I am afraid there may be no hope for you.

You're just now coming to this conclusion?

I can't argue with that, but I think I may be joined by that movie in the world of uselessness. I don't think a single word was spoken for about the first 10 minutes of that show. Slow paced, boring, but at least well-acted. There are enough movies that are well-acted AND good that I won't ever watch this one again.

What you call slow paced, I call perfectly paced. One of the more beautifully shot movies I've seen.

Remember he dismissed Melville and Gibbon as hacks.

Repeated demonstrations of not having the gift. Stick to Spielberg.
