I am a fan of noir. I have liked the better superhero films.

So what do I think about Watchmen? Well consider that it is a film that should have never been made. It is a very long superhero film with no name actors, and a good solid Rated R.

It is not a great film. But it is good enough that Farrah and I were discussing it the next day, partially to complain of course.

I have more specific critiques, but I'll leave it at that.

Mike, find the motion comic and watch it. It's much, much better. It's true to the comic novel; if not a tad too long. I watched it earlier this year when it was on Comcast on demand, but I bet you can find it online, itunes, or for rent on DVD.
