Recruting news is really only fodder for message board junkies and to help baseball haters have something to read and talk about during the summer.

Sileaga made a decision to not go the BYU. It isn't going to make or break either the Utes or the Cougs team. I say good luck to him. Rivalry aside, these are kids heading off to college, and I for one wish them all the best.

Really, I feel bad for Sileaga that he has to put up with shit being said about him.

Also, I can't believe that the Trib would run an article on this (i.e. that internet message boards are discussing his decision and making judgments about it). The trib's coverage has really degenerated over the past few years. The desnews is much more balanced and thorough in their coverage of local college athletics.
