UCLA - xx

Then, choose:

Hall's pass efficiency - (minus) Olson's pass efficiency

For example if you think Hall will have a higher pass efficiency, your number will be +, otherwise will be -.

The final score will be:

abs(byu_p - byu_a) + abs (ucla_p - ucla_a) + (0.5)(abs(MH_BO_PE_p - MH_BO_PE_a))

where _p = predicted and _a = actual

abs = absolute value function.

I am sure winning will be fun for a lot of you. However, I like to win only at things that involve an element of skill. Picking pass efficiency ratings for the QB's in a game is 90% luck. So if I lose on this one, well I care about that about as much as I care about Ben Olson's athletic career.

I think a late UCLA TD puts the game away, as it is a dogfight the whole game. I think BYU shows well and the loss isn't a bad one, but it hurts because we have a good chance to win it 24-20.

I think the difference in PED is -25.

I am also hoping to eat tasty crow. The last time I predicted a BYU loss was against TCU, and it tasted good.

Pick a positive number if you believe BYU will win, say about 22. I didn't use any brain matter to figure out my number.
