My credentials (since we want to give them):
I had the grades for the Y.
I only wanted to go to the U.
It's the only school I applied for.
I had a great spiritual and academic experience at the U.

Therefor, if you are fishing for those folks, it is slim pickins.

However, if you are looking for a target rich environment to insult people and have the insults hurled back, you are in fertile ground.
My point is........whatever Bronco meant, it is locker room material. And yes, locker room material is a motivator, even a differentiator. Ask anyone who has played sports and/or deals with athletes.

I know my ex sales assistant could have gotten into the Y. So could have the guy she married. Both went to the U and both have a degree in accounting. She is extremely sharp and they met at the U. They both told me they just didn't like the rigid atmoshpere and arrogance that was at BYU. Their perception, whether right or wrong.

By the way they got married in the Temple and have two little kids now. I wonder how hearing what Bronco said and CB fans interpretation of such makes them feel about their perception.

On a side note. The best religion class I ever had was at the U, not BYU. Taught by Brother Christiansen. It was awesome and I don't use that word lightly when talking about religion classes. As a matter of fact, it is the only time I use it.

No, like it or not, he's one of yours. He demonstrates every trait of a zoob.

If it is locker room material then Kyle and his players are as dumb as some Cougar fans.

Actually he has the traits of an "active LDS Ute fan".

Many kids in the church are defined by whether they can get into BYU. It's a pride issue. So my daughter applied and got into the Y.....the first of her friends just to stick it in their faces (you go girl!) Went there a semester and then transferred to Utah and loves it there. She's still a fan of BYU sports but prefers the environment at the U and the Institute Program over BYU.

BTW...........it is impossible to have a great spiritual or academic experience outside of BYU.

You've got it all wrong, Goat. Ex is a pussy. Pussies are kitties. And kitties are Cougars.

So you disagree that locker room/bulletin board material isn't used to motivate? So you are saying BYU doesn't do that?

Boy, are you out of touch.

In your humble opinion, what post did you disagree with?
