I'm not sure if your question is just about football, or about all BYU sports. For football, I would consider myself an 8 (just re-watched the '06 Vegas Bowl on Saturday). But my disinterest in everything else would drag me down to about a 4. I love me some BYU football, but couldn't care less about any other sport. I went to the BYU - Idaho State basketball game last year and wore my orange and black gear and cheered on the Bengals.

I also do not suffer from Steve Young Syndrome, meaning I don't choose my favorite NFL team based on which one has the star ex-BYU player.

If not for my dad driving us from Pocatello to Provo for every home game while I was growing up, it's very possible that I would be a Ute fan now that I live in Utah. I have no feelings for BYU as a school. In fact, I probably would have hated going there (not that I could have gotten in).

But I'm a proud Cougar football fan. I wear my gear with pride on game day, and I usually throw on a BYU hat when I go to my boy's games, because the Ute fans are always there in abundance.

That was better. When making a similar request to fellow 'pokes, do you ask them to get a pasture, corral or truck bed?

I'm no cougar, but this is a fun topic, so i'm going to respond anyway.

i wear a ute shirt to work out and run in, and have a drum and feather shirt that i wear to games, and sometimes on the weekends.

i have a coffee mug (i'm not saying whether it ever gets filled with coffee b/c i have priesthood leaders that may see this post) in my office, and

my collection of hats hang on a cool african statue that i brought back from south africa.

i would pay to see the utes on television, and in the past paid for the espn gameplan before craig thompson screwed us for the past two seasons.

i travel to at least one game every year and always to the bowl games if they are within driving distance (under 12ish hours).

i want to go to the michigan game, but nobody will travel with me.

Or a room, sure. Pillow biting is where you find it.

I do a little bit of that, but I don't have the Steve Young syndrome.

I have a glandular condition that makes it very painful to sweat.

You should throw some Great White and Kix in there as well. Or even better, add the high pitched tones of Mark Slaughter to your playlist, to really get the sweat flowing.

I am at the pinnacle of BYU fandom.

I started a message board because the old one didn't talk enough about BYU football.
