No, you started it because just cycling alone didn't make you a big enough dork- you wanted to talk about it too.

P.S. I'm an unhealthy 9.5/10.

For you who rewatch games...
Are you married? Do you have kids? If so, what's your secret?
I'm not sure I would rewatch games if I could (except for some of the obvious complete classics, and there, I would probably only rewatch the last quarter), but if I did want to, I have no idea how I would sell that to my wife.

I'm probably a 7. I need to buy more hats.

Multiple televisions, my friend. I didn't build my home theater so we could all watch Dancing With The Stars together.

And you can have some of my hats. I have 9 or 10, only need 1.

My wife wants me to rewatch games (in another room) so she can watch what she wants.

My Fan-ness
- Season football tickets. Golden Cougar. I rarely miss a home game
- Wear my BYU polo shirt to games.
- Watch all football away games on TV that I can; however, I refused to pay Comcast one red cent for cable so I had to go to a friends house a couple of times. Watch basketball games every once in a while.
- Get grumpy when the Cougs lose. My wife listens to end of the game only to find out the score so she will know if I come home grumpy or in a good mood.
- Can name most of the starting players on the football team.
- Read articles in the paper about all the BYU male sports (soccer, basketball, etc.)
- My favorite NFL team is the one with the highest profile BYU player. Thus I am currently a Dolphins fan.
- The only college football team I follow. I don't divide my loyalties like some other posers on this board even if they do say that they'll cheer for BYU over all other teams.

My Not Fan-ness:
- Will leave a game early if it's freezing cold or wet and the Cougars are getting blown out and my kids are whining at me and I know that I have to get up at 5:00 a.m. the next morning for Bishopric meeting. I left the infamous Boise State game at halftime because my kids had already had it with the cold/wet.
- Will leave a game early if BYU is blowing there opponent out and I'm getting a sunburn and my kids are whining at me and I know that I have to get up at 5:00 a.m. the next morning for Bishopric meeting.
- Don't have a BYU sticker on my car or BYU license plates or other stuff on my vehicle - I consider that "low class"
- Don't run smack about BYU and Utah in church. I consider that to also be "low class"
- Don't typically wear BYU stuff around town
- Don't buy basketball season tickets
- Will stand if something is exciting but don't see why people love to stand up the whole dang game. Fortunately my seats are on the rail at lower concourse (Row 9) so nobody can stand in front of me.
- Don't go to any Cougar Club activities, meet the team activities, etc. Even though I can get in to all that I just don't care. My Cougar Club membership is simply a mechanism to get good seats.
- Don't really follow recruiting beyond what I read about on this board.

So, what kind of a fan does that make me?

I'm a big fan:
-Grew up with a BYU professor father who always had season basketball tickets, and usually had football tickets. However, since we had a large family, I'd only get a turn to go to a couple of football games each year.
-Although I haven't been to a live BYU game in 15 years, I will pay to watch BYU football games, if possible. If it isn't on TV, I will usually listen to the game via KSL/internet.
-Can get a bit grumpy (OK, sometimes very grumpy) when they lose.
-Can usually name most starters by mid-season, and can identify about 1/2 of them by their number.
-Pulled out the maps of D1 teams, and have informed my wife that if BYU schedules a football game with any school within about an 8 hour drive, we're going. That includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Illinois, and Notre Dame. Would consider going to a basketball game with any of these schools as well - I've got to indoctrinate my kids somehow.
-Pretty big basketball fan as well, will watch most of the games that are on TV, will pay to see the game sometimes, and will listen to about 1/3 to 1/2 of the games via internet.
-Follow other sports somewhat - volleyball, track, cross country, baseball mostly, but if another team is having a good season, I'll pay a bit more attention.

I'm not a fan:
-Have never been to a BYU bowl game live - a flaw I'm hoping to correct in the near future.
-Never followed recruiting very closely 'til I found Cougarboard and Cougarguard, although I still don't pay too much attention to it.
-Have limited BYU memorabilia.
-Try to find other cougar fans in my area to invite over once or twice a season to watch the games with. Adds to the atmosphere...

I'm pretty bad.

Go to all home games FB and BB, watch all on TV even if it means going to someone else's house, and listen to most non-televised BB games on the radio. I'm almost as bad with BB as FB. And relative to other Coug fans, probably much more crazy on the BB side.

At least half of my non-work apparel is BYU.

I incorporate the ability to watch BYU home games as part of my career decisions.

I follow recruiting--though not as much as many. And know the two deep.

I'm on the optimistic side, but can be critical.

I live and work in Utah County, and of all the people I know in my non-internet social circle, there are only one or two others that I would consider bigger fans.

I attend all the open practices in fall camp and spring scrimmages. I was really upset when Crowton started tightening things up that way. Back in the day, you could get a lot closer to the program.

I have some shame about it. I pretend not to know as much about the Cougs or have as strong opinions about it when I talk to others.

Care absolutely nothing for any other BYU sport besides men's FB and BB.

I'm probably 7.5 out of 10. I watch or listen to every game and would gladly pay for the privilege. I go to every game I can. I'm upset after a loss. But I couldn't name the starting offense outside of the specialists. I don't rewatch games. I don't follow recruiting, etc.
I am probably an 8.

I go to about 1-2 games a year. I will make an effort to watch or track the other games. But I wouldn't go so far as to claim it is a must that I plan my day around but if I can watch I will.

I own some BYU gear that I wear. Golfing or jogging and of course to the games.

I know the depth chart pretty well and follow recruiting to some extent. A big part of that is just a bigger interest in how Mendenhall is building a program.

I like basketball almost as much as football and occasionally pay attention to the other sports.

I would root for Army, and will in 2010 and 2011, to beat the HELL OUT OF BYU! But I follow BYU sports more than Army probably due to proximity and other similar interests with BYU fans.

I am bit of a college football junkie. I follow the season and really have an interest in the art/science of running a college football program. I am obviously intrigued by Mendenhall and really like to analyze what I think he is trying to accomplish.

I am a bit disapointed when BYU loses but must admit I can find humor in the meltdowns it causes others.

If not for finding the internet I would probably like Utah. I bought a Utah hat in the late 90's because I loved Majerus so much. Then I found Utefans and Cougarboard and learned how bitter the rivalry was. I like to taunt those who let winning/losing get to them so much and right now Utes provide a more target rich environment.

I only taped games to send them to my dad when he was on a mission. If I have nothing else to do I watch some of the classic games on BYUTV. I do like the highlight videos to music though.

I will leave a game early for circumstances I deem worth it.

I'm probably an 8 or so. I used to have season tickets. The last two years I have only made it to shitty home coming games. I've been to a few bowl games. I watch replays. I have seen Staley tip toe down the sideline probably 12 times. I have watched Beck find Harline an equal amount if not more. I used to have all of Jennerstein's vids on my computer. I wear BYU gear to the games and to work out. I went to every home basketball game when I lived in Provo. I also attended every volleyball game and most baseball games. I used to purchase Game Plan games. I got rid of Dish and ordered Comcast for the Mountain. I try not to leave early. I even sat through the downpour against Hawaii a few years ago. I did leave the BYU and Ohio St. Holiday Bowl game in '93 early. But that's because my dad wanted to beat the traffic not me.
