A win in Ann Arbor, something I didn't expect ever to see, and only a bunch of bitching and moaning on Utefans,net. No sense of history, of wonder, of proportion, of appreciation, of tradition. Last year this time they wanted to fire Whit mid-season. Ignoramuses

Those of whom you speak are zoots. They were never Ute fans until after Meyer's first year.

The Goatnapper Law (it's no longer a theorem) about the number of dickheads being proportionate with a team's winning percentage is spot on and he was correct with his brilliant observation that zoots became dickheads at a faster rate than zoobs.

Folks like that generally think they know more about football than the coaches.

80% of the regular posters there joined during the 2004 season. They expect every game to be like the 2004 games.

Take the upcoming UNLV game for example. In 2004, Morgan Scalley returned the opening kickoff for a TD, and Utah led 63-10 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Anything less than the same this Saturday will result in bitching and moaning about the team not playing up to their potential, Whittingham being overrated and Ludwig needing to be fired.

i just can't stand the disorganization on that website. CG is great b/c it is topical and well organized. utefans doesn't get much from me in visitation. you fine folks here get that honor.
