I just referenced that hymn yesterday. way too soon to be a coincidence.

I have asked Jeff Lebowski to contact you and set you straight.

That's not it at all. It's just that the Sooners would never set up a highly-publicized game with that kind of potential for upset.

And it really doesn't sound like it's in negotiations yet. It sounds like it's an idea being pitched by the guys at ESPN. There's no mention of this anywhere in the Oklahoma media, and we cover sports far ahead of trivialities like the economy, war, and the presidential election.

However, I think between OU, FSU and ASU BYU should be in a far better position to deal with the speed of TCU and Utah.

If this happens, it is great scheduling, IMO. If BYU can come out of OOC at 3-1 and win out in MWC play it would be a spectacular year. Road games against OU and ASU and home games against FSU, TCU and Utah. Even Jay and '71 would have hard nipples and I think many of us weren't born the last time '71 had hard nipples.
It is sad to think that when I refer to getting a hard on I have to be careful I haven't just been to the Dr. for my anual exam. No one thinks I have the capability of getting one in the normal way.

Buddy, I can get witnesses that have heard me use that line from days before you were born, so go ahead, make my day.

So what do promise to perform, if it becomes a reality?

And I don't know what you mean about Sooner ego. We're a very humble lot. From the Sooner board, regarding the game:

Exactly! Much more to lose here than to gain. Making one no-name university famous per century is enough for me.

You called us a blue clad mid major. I am not sure I even know who you are anymore. I think you better leave now.

I don't know what you're talking about. The reference was clearly to Boise State.

Babs which team would you rather have Oklahoma open with next season: BYU or Boise State?
