Those are some neat, shiny records. It's a good thing the average season is now 13 games, enabling USC to surpass Florida State's string that was accomplished during 12-game seasons.

And yes, USC has the longest streak in the BCS system that has been in existence for only 10 years. Fortunately for USC this season, the number of BCS bowls has also increased, seeing as how the Beavers have the inside track for an auto-bid. Jeez how many of "your" accomplishments need Barry Bonds-esque asterisks next to them?

I understand what you are trying to do, but really USC vs Utah? 2 outright conference titles in 50 years vs 7 national championships? 1 heisman finalist vs 7 heisman winners. Two 10 win seasons vs 7 straight 11 win seasons?

Hey I didn't say anything about Utah long-term. I said this week's BCS poll saw Utah close the gap to within .020 of USC, and Captain I-Stopped-Affiliating-Myself-With-BYU-Three-Weeks-Ago responded with historical data (a very zoobish response), including ratings smack that shows his penis is the largest.

ESPN is projecting Utah playing either Wake Forest or Texas.

Wake Forest would be a godsend, Texas would not be.

Agreed. This is not the 2004 team.

Yep. Texas would take out all the frustrations of the Tech game on the Utes.

And the BCS cartel would love it.

I hope and pray that Utah, or god forbid, BYU doesn't get a Texas or OU. If it must be Texas, let it be Boise State.

Are you serious? Most teams would kill for the chance to play Oklahoma in a bowl game.

This team is very good, sans its unspecial teams. I would like BYU to play your special teams.
