I don't know where it started. It was going around. Heard it from a few people.

Yes, we should expect a dropoff next year. Hopefully it isn't too big. Having nearly the entire OL back (including backups) along with Vakapuna and Tonga at RB will take some of the pressure off of the new QB.

Actually we lose 2 other DL as well. We lose Matangi Tonga and Romney Fuga to missions, but we also have some guys coming in to replace them. It's also still unclear whether Russell Tialavea is mission bound or not. He had a fantastic 2nd half of the year and really solidified his hold as the starting DT.

Magnum Mauga is a 4 star JC DL commit we have coming in next year.

I believe we still have immediate needs at CB, as we bandaged this year together and will experience more long TDs if we do not continue to upgrade that position. Additionally, we need more pressure from DL to help the CBs.

He also blew out his knee and has yet to have surgery on it.

I'm not sure if they'll be able to count on him for next season.

Brandon Bradley is going to be special. He's started moving around with the practice squad again since his injury and is looking smooth.

Brandon Howard will be a Sophomore. Tico Pringle will be a Senior, Andre Saulsbery will be a Senior, Ben Criddle a Senior, Kayle Buchanon a Senior,

We also have 2 Freshman Corners coming in from Cali ranked in the Top 20 DB's of High School in California. Brannon Brooks and Greg Pittman. I think for the first time in a long time, BYU is going to have some legit depth at corner they've not had in ages, maybe ever.

If there was a stud CB out there we could bring in, I'd go for it. But between that and a RB, I think the need is greater at RB.

We've got plenty of talent at RB right now in Vakapuna, Tonga, Unga and Latu,,with JJ DiLuigi coming aboard, but as 2001 taught us as Cougar fans you can never be too deep at running back with Staley and McDonald-Ashford going and being relegated to Ned Stearns as our rushing attack in our 2 final games.

Just like 03' taught us you can never be too deep at Quarterback and being relegated to a 4th String Walk On QB in our 3-0 loss to Utah showed.

Why in the world do you think we have such a big need at RB?
