Honestly, I'd never heard of it. I've never seen American Pie. I had to google it and got more info (plus pictures) than I could have possibly needed.

Sidenote:

If you ever need a definition for something that won't show up in a traditional dictionary, you can use "define" in the google searchbox. It returns all the definitions it can find on the web. Pretty cool.
