Cali Coug has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Delta and Northwest merge

Creating the world's largest airline.

For those of you in SLC, what effect do you think this will have on Delta's hub there? The SL Trib seems to think things will be great:

I wonder if Delta is saying the same thing to people in Minneapolis (a major Northwest hub). This deal seems like a bad idea to me. The article below has a pretty good summary of many of the issues:

I'm in SLC and I'm Platinum on NWA. I'm a little nervous about this deal. I think it'll make it easier for me to get to Asia and NYC however. The two areas I go most often. I just don't know if I'll get to NYC in 1st class like I'm used to. That's my biggest concern.

One more thing. I think either Memphis or Cincinnanti are in trouble. I also think Detriot could be in trouble. I don't see Mineapolis or Atlanta getting phased out obviously. Salt Lake makes sense as the western hub. Some of the smaller airports could and should have diminished routes.
