And therein is the issue. How does the government protect property? Are stocks and bonds property? Do they have an interest in protecting 401k plans? If so, how do they do that without regulations? And how are regulations of any use without prosecutory power? Apply this to many, many areas of the law where conservatives whine about government presence.
