It seems like a combination of nonsense and Mullah fantasy (but not old school Mullah fantasy--they would never accept a quid pro quo with the Church of the Devil!).

I've seen that as well. Probably just another faith-promoting rumor, but not as far-fetched as SIEQ grumpily suggests. As with any of these things, I'd like to see some substantiation before passing it along further.

That's not to say I necessarily believe this particular story.

Personally I think it's great that the 30 non-Catholics in Rome will no longer have to travel 400 miles to the temple in Bern. All it took was alienating 10% of the U.S. population.

What's the big deal about a temple in Rome?
Sure it is nice. Sure it will be a blessing to the Saints in that part of Italy. But is it some kind of manifestation of the power of God resting with the church? East German temple much bigger deal. A temple in mainland China would be a much, much bigger deal. Is there one? I can't remember. |

They weren't going to join the church anyway.

Have you given up on "The stone that will fill the whole earth" business?
I wonder if that teaching is in decline.

You forget that the stone smashed a few things on the way to filling the earth.
