Does anyone know the story behind this? It apparently happened in Feb of '85. I was still a month away from coming home from Italy and this is the first time I've even heard about this.

I always thought he was a pretty laid back guy, but in the heat of competition, we all can do things that are uncharacteristic of who we are.
