I'm not familiar with criminal law, so can someone who is give me an idea how/why there are 39 counts? Does the prosecutor find anything and everything with which he can charge the defendant? Personally, I think some kind of murder charge would be sufficient. And why first degree murder? This seemed more reactionary than planned.
