For me: My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, The Shins (are they rock? – not sure), The White Stripes. Can we only choose one? I think a popular pick could be Wilco - but I think they're overrated.

When you watch them, you get the feeling that there is no place in the world that they would rather be than playing for you. Wilco is good. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is not as good as I thought when it first came out. A Ghost is Born is great and certainly better than most give it credit for. The new album is above good and more people would admit it if it didn't want to make you drive a VW when they heard it. I like alot of that musical tree, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, all good. |
