Default Anyone catch that gold medal bout at 165 pounds?

Worst boxing I've ever seen. Some Brit won it, but I'm not sure how. Three times they actually wrestled each other to the ground (and I missed most of the first round). Twice the Brit got a point for getting punched in the face. Boxing purists were probably in tears.

It's been really tough for me to find the will to watch Olympic boxing since the debacle in Seoul.

It sounds like I'm not missing much at all.

Boxing needs a new Cassius Clay to bring it back.

Olympic boxing and the point scoring system used in amateur fights is a joke.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm talking about.

Yep. Everything about Clay was good for the sport of boxing. He not only was strong in his social beliefs, but he was the best fighter to step into a ring.

As I said, boxing needs another Casius Clay.
