There is no story. His contract was up for renewal/expiration and they couldn't come to an agreement and they signed Cris Carter to take his place. They tried to do it quietly.
It will never be reported but it was similar to the Harold Reynolds situation and why he was let go at ESPN for sexual harrassment in wanting to avoid something like from happening again. Salisbury has a very salacious behind the scenes reputation.
