What kind of an answer do you want to hear that would be satisfactory?

I hate her because, as Archaea mentioned, her politics are a threat to my way of life. Her socialist agenda would deny me my right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness because her policies would have to tax the hell out of me.

And I ask for a third time: What reason is there to like her? Why are libs unwilling to answer this - or could it be that y'all know there is no reason to like her?

I gave some very rational answers. And I drew a distinction between hating her, and hating what she stands for.

As one who doesn't like her, I'll let others respond to that. I know we have a few on here who voted her as their favorite candidate. I did already mention that she's been the most impressive of all the candidates from either party on science issues, but since most candidates, particularly on the democratic side, have not said anything about science issues, I don't know if Hillary is actually the best or just the only one who has talked about them.

Why does she date Al Gore and is she Al Gore's global warming specialist?

There is nothing more rational than saying she's a bitchmonger from hell.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Why are all conservatives so in love with Al Gore and bring him up at every possible opportunity? Even the review of Sunshine in the WSJ managed to work Al Gore into it. It's like he's so easy a target that he's the safety valve when there's nothing intelligent to say.

We're not in love with him. We mock him and rightfully so.

Because Al Gore has made himself the target of derision ever since he tried to distance himself from Bill Clinton in '00 when he ran for President. He thinks he matters but he doesn't.

Obviously he does matter, or he wouldn't be mentioned constantly by the ignorant. Al Gore is dead wrong about a great many things, and his share of the Nobel prize is a travesty, but much of the derision he receives is from those who have no clue what exactly he is wrong about, and mock him for false reasons or as a generic "liberal" punching bag. He is a man who has accomplished much, but whose accomplishments are ignored because of the regrettably poor way in which he communicates, and the threat he poses to those who endeavor to avoid facing certain facts.

Those who mock him are often those who are far more wrong on environmental issues than Gore is. Gore exaggerates the facts, while his critics tend to ignore the facts entirely. Which is worse?

For me it's not so much Hillary but that it's another Clinton. First we have a son of a former president and then we have a wife of a former president. What are we, some third world country where two families run the place? The best this country can do for a president the last 24 years (assuming Hillary wins) are the Clinton's from Arkansas and George W. Bush?
