But the more I dissect the Iliad, the more I realize that Homer intended the ancient Greeks to identify much more easily with the heroes of Troy than the heroes of Greece. Aside from Paris, The Trojans were better role models for ordinary mortals. Plus, I love the shiny horse-hair helmets on the USC band.
