My only unwavering loyalties have been to BYU and the Jazz. Liked the 49ers during the Montana/Young era, but that was based more on those two players and I'm no longer a fan.

Lakers since 1993 when I finally realized why all the conservative types liked the Celtics and Larry Bird et al, and I was no longer able to love them. So I decided I would love the opposite, and since the Lakers sucked at the time, I would not have to deal with bandwagon jumper status.

The Cleveland Indians were my first love in 1986. I have been with them ever since but I had to stop caring so much after Jose M.F. Mesa and the 97 World Series.
