Default A new abortion law for fathers

The father of a fetus can request that the mother have an abortion. If she refuses, then he is not responsible for child support.

If it is within the first trimester.

If it can be proven that the mother knew of her pregnancy, and knew who the father was, and chose not to reveal this to the father within the first trimester, he is not responsible for child support.

Shouldn't men have the right to destroy life as much as women?

wow. When I saw the title I assumed you were speaking of a law that requires a husband to be informed before an abortion can take place. Guess not.

Where is this proposal?

I checked the mail but it's still not here.
I sure hope that ring wasn't a joke 'cause I'm really counting on it.

My proposal is tongue in cheek, but why should it be without merit?

After all a fetus is nothing but tissue, right? I mean, we could use them in dog food if we wanted, right?

I bet Mike springs these ideas on you all the time. Do you actually engage him on these things or just roll your eyes? I know that there is all sort of stuff like this I try to get my wife to talk to me about. Mostly she tells me I ought to go see if my "internet buddies" care because she doesn't. lol.

I proposed that law at BYU law school. Boy, you should have heard a pin drop, and most of the students didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. Except for several of the hot nonLDS ones.

It's not that ethically interesting, but I do appreciate the economic symmetry.

You have no idea how true that is. He does spring crazy ideas all the time, and usually I don't mind. Actually the only scenarios I've stopped listening to are the polygamy ones he kept bringing up. Thank goodness we got bored with Big Love and stopped watching it.
