Default A toasty 113 here in the Southwest

and my friend is racing fifty miles a foot out at the lake.

He ran a 7:34 for a rolling, hilly 50.

70 degrees.
twentieth day in a row of rain.
So far only one house has been washed into the river.

With all the rain the lake is unusually clean, though, and made for great swimming this morning.

Why would anyone want to run fifty miles?
