Praise the Lord. Obviously those callings were inspired.

Elder Cook, not so much.

Yes, it was a good conference for the Cougarguard wing of the church. We actually have seen IP from church headquarters here on CG. Maybe they are taking notes after all.

IP? This isn't the result of some conscious decision to be more "inclusive", it's just a natural byproduct of the shifting demographics of the church.

Mike, they must have not read your email for apostolic appointment. Otherwise the rest of the emails were received.

None of those from Africa? I kinda wonder why we have a disproportionate number of Germans, especially in light of the extremely low population of church members in Germany. I may know ChristianeGlueck. That might be weird for me to know a wife of a GA.

The church has been in Germany a lot longer and leadership is more developed there. Give Nigeria and Ghana another 10 to 20 years, though it may not take that long.

Pretty much sums up the CG reaction.

I wonder how they'd react if a conservative, black, lifelong Utahn were the next appointment. What a quandary that would create. He'd be the apostolic Clarence Thomas.

Good luck finding that person. I'm not holding my breath.

How could you possibly know that for certain?
