Default Good Basketball Game.

Still close late in the 3rd. Spain moves the ball well and can shoot mid-range shots. I hope it's close through the 4th.

This is not good for my blood pressure. How in the hell is Navarro getting into the lane on each possession? He's getting runners and layups. Back off of him and let him hit a j. This is ridiculous.

Man, this is a good game. When the US is in trouble they go one on one. When Spain is in trouble, they still play team ball, and that why with only 1:00 left it's still a game.

Glad to see Deron Williams hit a big three to give the US a boost.

Kobe Bryant is one arrogant sonofabitch, but man is he good. He had a couple of really poor decisions and shots, but he also hit some big ones. Dwayne Wade also came up huge. You forget how good he can be because of the injuries he's had the last few years.

The best part is, now that Olympic basketball is over, with the Gold where it belongs, Football season starts this week, and we are now past the slow summer sports months. It's a good time to be a sports fan again.

It felt weird to be rooting for him but when he hit the three and got fouled I became one of his biggest fans.

The rest of the world has come so far in basketball since the dream team days. Who'd have thought we'd be facing a team in the finals where the starting 5 were all current, future, or at least former NBA players?

Ditto that. Kobe saved the US's bacon late in the game.

Watched it on the DVR yesterday. That was a great game. Spain really played well.
