Default So sad.

The only thing that makes me smile more than Boston going down 2-1 in a playoff series... Blue going down 3-1. Call me a hater.

Hater. Gosh dammit Dodgers. Though I love Victorino. Gotta keep my love for my Hawaiian boys.

Who ever would have pictured the Rays or the Phillies in this year's World Series? It seems like every year there is a surprise team: Rockies, White Sox, Astros, Marlins, etc.

It's a shame that the MLB hasn't switched to a BCS system. The Angels and Cubs could be playing for a phantom trophy right now.

This is probably one of the worst things that can happen for MLB's ratings. Baseball ratings are already down and this will probably make them even worse. There probably will not be many watching if this is how it plays out.

I will love to see the Rays in the Series though. To see a team that has just sucked since day make such a turn around is pretty cool. I just hope the Dodgers can pull it out to be the ones to play them.

I agree with you about the ratings will be going down. And that is a damn shame, because this year's post season has been terrific.

In the last 10 years, every NL West participant in the NLCS has gone on to the World Series, with the exception of the D-Backs last year, who lost to the Rockies. And every team in the division has played in the WS in the last 10 years, with the exception of the Dodgers.

Way to let down the entire division big blue.

I never noticed that, but you are correct - the NL West has been very well represented in the World Series. The Dodgers are about to ruin it for that division.

On the bright side for LA fans, their team isn't going to lose to the team from Boston in this sport.
