I'm on your side here, but I am also able to see Levin's point of view - if a bear or a wolf were to break into your home, you could grab your loaded gun and shoot it. If a criminal were to break into Levin's home, he could grab his unloaded gun and die.

I didn't want to say anything but since you've broached the subject yes, Levin feels emasculated in my presence. And he's not the only one, the condition is common among urban males. I almost fell prey to it myself before I was able to drag myself out of the soul crushing city and out to the hinterlands where men are still allowed to be men. Not some nancied facsimile that uses product in his hair.

No Levin needs our pity and understanding. And maybe an invite to go shoot prairie dogs.

I own four. Two shotguns(12 and 20 gauge), a .300 Savage and a .22. I don't doubt you own more. I do most of my struggling against nature bare chested with a Bowie knife.
