In other words much ado about nothing. I can see throwing him under the bus as a self important attention grabber. His look at me workshops that took place after words are a bit self serving and I think he comes off as a douche bag, but recording and publishing the hearing I don't have a problem with. The church keeps a record, so should the member.
I do not have a problem with the recording. The only problem I have with the publishing of it is that IMHO he comes off as a douche bag and I don't particularly like douche bags.

I thought I stated in my first post of the thread that I had no problem with it. So let me say for the record, no it does not bother me. Potential was there for mistreatment. Were I in his shoes I would want my own record of the hearing as well.

His publishing it makes him a bit of an ass hole but I really don't care about it either. The church has nothing to fear from disclosing the minutes of these hearings if the ex-ed people agree to the release.

Nothing good comes from keeping this hush hush.

So you have no problem with someone recording you without your knowledge and then publishing it?

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

The guy should have just been on the up and up and just whipped the recorder out when the meeting started, then there would have been ZERO question as to what his motives were.

The SUPREME IRONY was his pontificating about how only corrupt organizations hide or control information, yet he clandestinely recorded the proceedings.

This thread, only a few hours old, is already a spectacular bestseller. I bet in terms of hits and posts it will be the biggest seller ever.

Yea, I couldn't put it down. I forgot to execute a trade properly today. You will probably read about it in the near future since the market was down $300 today they will want to blame someone.
