This reminds me of the special broadcast that the church had on the day after the 9/11/01 attacks. Elder Eyring got up and read the "I am the resurrection and the life" scripture, and read the one that you just quoted, and then he paused, looked in the camera, and said, "believest thou this?"
So FWIW, his expression of the same was as though he started a new phrase. |
