Default NO BAILOUTS, for the last time!

There will be a fat-cat deal, but I intend to join other citizens to make those politicians pay, that vote for it.

Run the bastards out of town!

Not saying I agree or disagree ... but just curious Mike, since you're the self-appointed champion of the underpriviledged:

If hurting a few "fat-cats" means hurting large swaths of people who can no longer get legitimate loans, is that okay with you?

Conservatives, which I count myself among, believe that getting to a better place often requires some pain.

Giving tax money to dumb businessmen to cover for their idiocy is not going to help the little guy.

Let the smart guys make money and let the dumb lose their shirts.

God, I hate you fake conservatives. Let's go to war! Let's torture! Let's increase the debt! Let's bailout wall street! Let's abandon civil liberties! Let's ban burning the flag! Let's make flag lapel pins mandatory by law!

I hate you for your ruining the GOP.

So "regular" people who want to start a business, or legitimate borrowers who want to get a mortgage--who can't because the banks won't lend--that's ok with you?

Again, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing ... just curious how far you're willing to go with it.

I don't believe that is going to happen.

And if there needs to be more liquidity in the market, there are ways to get there without giving a blank check to the bad actors in all of this.

"Conservatives" of the ilk of Tex and the compadres of most of you on CB are only "conservative" because they want favor the disgraceful side of the conservative movement--social conservativism. Their "conservaitivism" is all about opposing gay marriage. Single issue nitwits who want a president who will stack the courts to get Roe reversed.

When the going gets tough they want to join the liberals at the trough, that's for sure.

Frankly, I think the main issue is that they are not very bright. The sheeple go where the leaders take them.

I love it that word "ilk." It's a one-off of "Hitler."

PS. I didn't say I supported the bailout, FYI.

Glad to see MW and SU boldly going where they can assert their intellectual and mroal superioroity and, incidentally, point out how it might help the country.

Rather than talk about politics, maybe you two could start a forum. You could call it "I'm Chevy Chase, and you're not" forum and all the posts would either extol your virtues intellectually and moirally, expecially in realtionship to posters here you don't like, or they would be deleted. This should be a much more efficient use of your time on the board, I would think.
