I watched the ’96 Cotton Bowl on my honeymoon, and no, that did not go over real well with the bride.
I guess I'm pretty lucky. My wife and I spent significant portions of our honeymoon at sports bars watching the NBA finals - her choice.

Significant portion??? Sports bars??? Her choice???

Where in the sam did you go on your honeymoon? Was there no hotel involved and if so, what was wrong with the cable tv?

And which NBA finals in the past 2 decades have been interesting enough to take time away from "extracurricular activites" to watch?

Just wondering...

Idiot that I am, I chose a bed and breakfast that had no tv - It's my honeymoon, after all, what do we need a tv for?

For the remaining 23 hours and 55 minutes of each day - what else?

Yes, I am an avid cyclist; No, I’m not very good.

Yes, I own several pairs of Lycra/spandex shorts; No, I never been told that they look good on me.

Yes, I like show tunes; No, I am not gay.

I enjoy backpacking/climbing/repelling/spelunking when the Mrs. grants permission.

I watched the ’96 Cotton Bowl on my honeymoon, and no, that did not go over real well with the bride.

About 12 years ago I spent 2 years in Toronto knocking on doors and getting spat at. Yet, somehow I still feel some affection for those amoral Socialist bastards who charge way too much in sales tax but make the best candy bars in the world.

I’ve seen 13 Veggie Tales movies, my favorite of which is “The End of Silliness???” If you don’t know what this is, consult which someone who has a 2 year old.

I am a die-hard cougar fan, grad school at Creighton (Blue jays), mission to Toronto (Blue Jays), born in Kansas (a Royals fan and a Jayhawks basketball fan). Are you seeing a trend? Now if the 49ers would just change their uni color to blue, it would greatly simplify my game day wardrobe.
Wow. I'm real disapointed to hear you use the term "bastard". My whole image of you has just shattered.

Just because you put it in quotes doesn't make it any better for you.

Plus, that was written a long time ago. Things have changed. I'm now approaching 34 . I have increased my posterity by 50%. And now I look damn good in lycra shorts.

But I still like show tunes.

Liking show tunes is the ultimate evidence of manliness. It shows you're so manly that you don't care what some wussy boy thinks of you liking show tunes. In fact, if you don't like show tunes, you're probably gay and trying to overcompensate. Other great icons in manliness, such as myself and Lavell Edwards, are also fans of musical theater.

I'm glad you finally agree that I'm an icon of manliness.
