Default A glimmer....

.....we have all seen the movie. The hero overcomes adversity and then rises to never-before-seen heights. But that's boring. Adversity must come, i.e. the wingman must die. Goose gots to go for Maverick to truly make it. And then also, a new wingman, from unexpected parts, must step in.

Rogers? Are you listening? Magnusson?

This is just going to make the national championship that much more meaningful, and the legend of Jimmer that much more. Transcendent.

Yes, we know this movie. We know the script. Our watchful Heavenly Father is the master director.

Unfortunately, he doesn't give a damn about basketball.

And here I sit, in a funk like Archaea after a Crowton-led blowout loss, listening over and over to "The River" by Springsteen.

"A union card and a wedding coat." Damn you world, damn you. "And the judge put it all to rest."
