Remember, someone like Halford doesn't need to score to be effective. Just his presence at the 3 point line spaces the floor. Winder can't space the floor like that as a 2-guard.

And you still don't have a retort about Winder vs. Bartley on D. Bartley is much more athletic. If the answer is that simply Bartley is less experienced, then the way to remedy that quickly is to give him experience.

On defense, I see Bartley making more mistakes, just as Winder did as a freshman, gambling when he should stay home. He appears to have more explosion but his outside shot is not as reliable as Winder's. On defense, Winder is more mature and makes better decisions. Bartley has more potential upside but is still a yoyo like Winder.

I would like to see Winder follow up the game with another good performance.
