Default I couldn't help but chuckle

I saw this on the net:

Quote:
Good year, lots of rain, many bales = no market = much money lost
Bad, no rain, or far to much rain = no hay = much money lost
Perfect weather, fuel and fertilizer skyrockets in cost = hay to expensive = much money lost
Good weather, expenses stable = Hay Grower Dies in Sock = much money lost

Haying = Much Money Lost
It reminded me of this:

Two Hundred acres of alfalfa cut and in the winrow and it rains today. As bad as we need rain I sure wish it would have stayed away for a couple of days and I could have got it in the bale. I think I'll go take my frustrations out and ride a bull, a four wheeler, or torture a Ewet or a Demecrat.

Having helped my grandpa a couple of years during haying season, I know of what bullrider speaks. Farming is a tough business.

I guess there are no subsidies for hay farmers. Better to farm something that will get you a lot of money from the govt. Like corn.
