Well, it's kind of like Hitler and Stalin. Twin evils who despise one another and can't see they're essentially the same thing.

I'm sure woot doesn't know the first thing about what academic scrutiny of a religious tradition even means.

I have no interest in apologizing for Christianity. I am simply non-dogmatic, and see things as they are, the beautiful and the ugly, the sublime and the dull, the self-evident and the mysterious. People here have called me a general hater of religion, and they are both right and wrong. You should have remained Mormon because you have simply traded one form of parochialism for another.

Wait so now I'm either Hitler or Stalin and I despise Indy? So let's see, so far this thread, you've put Einstein, Martin Luther, and basically all of the Renaissance artists into your camp, and Hitler and Stalin into mine. I wonder if you actually have anything of substance to say or if you just get off on name-dropping.

So you claim to be non-dogmatic, and in the same paragraph throw out wild stereotyped accusations without a shred of evidence. Keep it up; this is getting good.

I think you've summarized what I'm saying about you quite well. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Perhaps you should delineate what exactly your camp is. Other than being populated by everyone smart, what exactly is the argument that your camp espouses? I can already tell you're wrong by the brainless way you associate yourself with good people and me with evil people, but let's hear it.
