Default Has anyone used a Coleman tent fan?

July and August campouts are coming up, which will be a doozie in terms of heat and misery.

You know what Mike, I have never used one of those things but I have to commend you on fulfilling your calling. You really are into helping out the scouts and I think its outstanding. The only problem is that the leaders in the church are bound to see your fulfilling your duty and soon you will be given more and more responsiblilty I suggest not wearing a tie one sunday when the stake president happens to be in attendance that should buy you some time.

don't worry about me. I have the perfect plan.

We had only planned on living in our house for 4 years. (it's 4 years now). I tell my superiors, "the only thingi keeping me here in this ward/stake, since I'd rather be closer to my work, is this calling I am in now."

I don't dress well, I don't comb my hair well, I rarely shave. It's very hard for people to trust someone that looks like me.

Yes, we own one of them. They really don't move that much air. They can provide a little bit of a breeze but don't count on them keeping you cool on a sweltering night.

I bet they make little portable air conditioners nowadays.

Notice how you never see a solitary wind turbine. If you want some good flow, you'll need to pimp out the tent with a plethora of those little Coleman doohickeys.

Personaly, we camp at sites that have those pads with electricity & water. We bring along the stand up fan from the living room, stick it in the tent, and then plug it in. It works VERY well.

Ok, ok, so Grizzly Adams I ain't.
