Just ordered my first generator - cougarguard.com — unofficial BYU Cougars / LDS sports, football, basketball forum and message board

How much did you pay for it? I've been eyeing this generator for a while and just found it on ebay for $800 (including shipping):

For emergency preparedness only, I'd probably go with a cheaper (and louder) 3000 watt generator, but I want the option to take this camping if I decide to. What I'm worried about is the 2000 watts...do you think that's enough to power what you need in an emergency? (fridge/freezer, furnace, and what else?)
