I'm not one to defend Smith. He's struggling because he was a better college QB than pro QB.

he's probably struggling because he was vastly overrated, and didn't have the physical and mental skills to succeed at a higher level.

Taking a MWC QB to the NFL is proving to be a bit like taking a MLB franchise owner and making him POTUS.

As I said, he was a better college QB than he is a pro QB.

Don't be so hard on your fellow Texan. He was the owner, but didn't make the baseball decisions.
