Rocky Anderson is hilarious. One week he is complaining that RSL needs to give the soccer complex $7.5 million and that RSL couldn't ask for anything because it "wasn't in writing."

Now he is demanding the Real Madrid/RSL Academy be built in SLC because of previous agreements.... part of this meeting where nothing was put into writing.

Quote:
Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson maintains the facility should be in Utah's capital and that to do otherwise would be "absolutely contrary to everything that [RSL] agreed to in the past."
Quote:
But Jason Perry, the state's negotiator on the stadium deal, notes the agreement Sandy will vote on tonight requires only that an academy be built in "Salt Lake County."
Anderson would like the document changed to require the academy be established within his city.
You can't have it both ways Mayor. You wouldn't let RSL address their previous agreements, nope, you went and cried to the press and now you want to address your agreements from this same "undocumented" meeting.
