Presidential elections are won by swing voters
There is a large group of middle-of-the-road voters in this country who voted for Regan twice, Clinton twice and GWB twice. These are the people who decide general elections.
Which candidate on both sides can capture these voters? IMHO, it's Obama and McCain, maybe Giuliani too. Any other matchups will result in a landslide. |

It would be much more lively if they instead decided by swingers who vote.
