Brian has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default garage door sensor

I suspect I have a bad sensor on one side of the garage. Everything has worked like a champ until this morning.
One sensor has a green light, the other red. If I break the energy beam, both sensors blink red. Since the one sensor can 'see' the other, I assume the alignment is good. adjusting the position of each fails to put the sensor into a green state. I don't see any reboot switch on either sensor to see if I can reset it.

Never dealt with these fellers, but I'm leaning towards dropping by the Depot and getting a replacement set. Or is there a trick?

It depends on what kind of unit you have. Some openers have sensors that have one green and one red all the time. Others will have one turn red when they are out of alignment. Aligning them can be a PITA. They are very finicky and sensitive. Most don't have a reset button, but you can do a hard reset by unplugging it for a few minutes. Hope that helps.
